what cic asked for CEC is that you worked continuously 52 weeks and each week at least 30 hours. 2 weeks paid vacation is acceptable.

You will need to seek employment option for additional hours, as for how long, it depends on how your hours were distributed.

you can use a different skilled job to fill this up, not necessary to be the same position, as long as it is skilled and not listed as the exceptions.

Yeah... You not only need an employer, but also an employer willing to apply for an LMIA for you. I see you are 2112 chemist, so I assume you have at least a master's, maybe a PhD? Have you tried to look for postdocs, postmasters? They are LMIA exempt so much less trouble for the employer. At least I know postdocs are LMIA exempt..

Try your luck.
Apply for PR. If you get the AOR then apply for the BOWP and find new job. Once you get BOWP and Job then you can decide how you want to proceed.

If we get AOR then it means they are ok with the timelines within which they provided in the schedule 8 ?? that's what u mean?

Yeah... come to think of that, you are right. They check your eligibility pretty hard now and won't issue AOR even if you claim 12 months but there is only 11..

Well, at least Sidney Intake checks that. We all know Sidney Intake doesn't make the final decision. VO's in Ottawa do, so you are not out of the woods yet, if you think you are eligible because of the AOR..

Back on topic - you will not qualify for CEC without one more month's full-time work experience.

CEC is not the only program. What province are you in? You can look into the PNP program...

Also - are you under 35 years?

Problem more related to LMIA.

It's virtually hard.

Another postdoc = slavery with a low pay 31-35k per year.

Work with dangerous and explosive materials.

So high skill and so low pay. :'(

I cannot extend my work permit, my contract was terminated because prof was out of money and currently I'm applying for EI.
I have 1561 hour, can you please give me the link where officially such experience wil not count?

Is it possible for you to add up your full time job hours and part time job hours to meet the total working hours of a year?
