I started in September 2017 as a part-time worker and worked till April 2018 app. 18 - 24 hours per week during my study of B. pharmacy.
I continued doing the part-time job there from April 2018 - December 2018 (app. 18 - 24 hours per week ).
Then, I gained full-time experience during the duration of Jan 2019 - July 2019. ( app. 51 hours per week )
Later on, In October 2019 I changed the job and joined another company and worked there full time from October 2019 - October 2020. (app. 60-63 hours per week )My shift timing was 9 - 6, simultaneously I did part-time work in another company from Jan 2020 - November 2020.( 18 hours per week )
Since November 2020 I am currently working there. (50-60 hours per week )
Could somebody tell me whether I've complete my 3 years of experience or not? If not for how many months I need to work more to complete the 3 years of work experience?
Kindly reply _/\_

1. The work experience gained during full time study is not counted. So, no credit upto April 2018.

2. April 2018 - December 2018. Assume you get 24 hours per week written on the reference letter, we get 936 hours for 39 weeks. To convert to ful time experience

Number of weeks = 936/30
= 31
So , effectively, it means 7 months of full time experience.

3.Jan 2019 - July 2019: You worked full time for 51 hours per week but maximum 30 hours per week are calculated. So, you get 7 months of full time experience straightaway.

4. August 2019 to September 2019 is missing. So, no credit.

5. October 2019 - October 2020 : You worked full time for 60 hours per week. Although you worked in part time as well, but since full time work hours are more than 30, no credit for part time work. Effectively, you get 13 months of full time experience.

6. November 2020 to December 2020: You worked for 50 hours per week. You get 2 month of full time experience.

Now, adding all the full time experience, 7 + 7 + 13 + 2 = 29 months i.e. 2 years and 5 months.

So, you are still 7 months short of completing 3 years of full time experience. To be on safer side, get atleast 8 months more.

First of all, thank you so much for your help. It means a lot. However, Could you please check this?

Student work experience
Work experience gained while you were studying may count towards your minimum requirements if the work:

Yes, you got it right.

For FSW, you can actually use part time experience gained during study.

So, from September 2017 to April 2018, you get

32 weeks × 24 hours = 768 hours

To convert into full time experience

768/30 = 25 weeks

say 6 months

So, your total experience becomes 29 + 6 = 35 months

This question was asked a month ago. So, 35 + 1 = 36 months

Technically, yoy have got 3 years experience and can go ahead.

Best of luck!
