I had an administrative job (keeping records of students in a certain department) while I was doing my masters in the US. This job was part-time, no more than 10 hrs. weekly and not related at all to my main field of study.

Did not mention it in the pre-ITA application (as it does not satisfy criteria for skilled work experience).

Do you think I have to mention this in my Personal History/Work History post-ITA in the PR application?

The reason I ask is IRCC may contact Clemson to verify my student records (I'm not sure exactly how this works) and then discover I had a part-time position which I did not mention in my application..

It doesn't qualify for your work experience section on the EE profile , however after receiving your ITA you should definitely include it in your personal history even if it overlaps your studies.

As far as contacting your educational provider, it doesn't usually happens that they would contact your university unless something is very fishy about your school to start with, however if you got your ECA then chances are they will never contact them at all. In fact, ECA reports are not required to be included in your eAPR attachments as you are only required to fill the ECA number on the application itself and only attach the graduation diploma (many people here think that it might be better to attach the report but this is optional and it's not required under section 10 of the Immigration Act).

IRCC will later verify the authenticity of the ECA through their website, as they have access to all ECA agencies

Hmm ok. Well then like you said my records would overlap in the "Personal History" section - now, this job I had while studying would have to be tagged with an "Activity type" of Employment right (and not educational activity)?

Please bear with me while I ask dumb questions.

Don't place under employment history. Only after you receive ITA you can place it under personal history mentioning both your studies and work

I did receive my IT-A. I'm talking about putting in this 10-hr work experience in my post-ITA PR application ..

As I said already, place this job under your personal history and not your work experience tab
