I have my work permit extended till 2020. But my work visa(stamp in passport) expires in 4 months.

Can i raise my dependent visa first with 2020 WP and after that raise work visa extension ?

Is work visa extension mandatory for dependent visas ?

The validity of your TRV is irrelevant for extending the status of a dependent.

No idea. You can explain to them that a TRV is simply a stamp in a passport allowing you to board a commercial carrier to travel to Canada. It has nothing to do with status.
