Work Visa Approval Mail ?

Hey folks,

This is mainly directed to Work Visa applicants. I'm not sure how true this is but I heard recently that Work Visa applicants receive an approval e-mail if their Visa is approved and that you get this email before picking up your passport at VFS. Can anyone confirm on how true this is ? Did you receive this letter before picking up your passport or did you pick up your passport before receiving the email ?
Is this also for paper route applicants ? And that if you don't receive the letter and the VFS tracking says despatched to the VFS center then it is likely a denial ?

They usually send an email regardless which type of application it is. The email will have a pdf file which is your letter of introduction to produce to the immigration when you land in Canada. Then the immigration officer will issue a work permit after asking some basic questions.

Keep checking your email and pray well. Some people get the email at a later date.

Go as soon as possible to VFS to get your passport to find if the passport have visa stamped to get rid of this suspense.

By the way, when did you apply and when did you got the status changed to despatched ?

It's been 3 weeks now and my application is still in process. I was just asking because that's what I heard from someone.
