I was hoping someone can help me with this question.
I've been in Canada for 13 years now..
10 years in study visa and then received 3 year PGWP which expired this August.
I applied for WP extension with LMIA which was still getting processed to buy some time. (2nd LMIA)
Both LMIA came back negative due to "employer not trying hard enough to find Canadians"
It's oil and gas industry job so hard to argue that one.
Anyways so my implied status ended as of end of November when WP came back negative due to LMIA being negative.
I got AOR in the beginning of November and it's getting processed under FSW category.
I was eligible for both CEC and FSW but they made me apply under FSW which takes longer it seems like.
anyways, I notified CIC of my employment change, but would this affect my PR application since my status is changed now too?
I have 90 days to restore my status.. which I will do as a visitor.
I wanted to hold off applying just in case my PR gets approved before - highly doubtful I know..
anyways, let me know if you guys have any answers whether to if it will affect my current PR application or not.
