I am filling my application online on the portal. I am stuck at the Work, School and Activities section.
My situation I am having difficulty declaring is:
I was on vacation between November 2023 and March 2024 in India (mentioned in the Physical Presence Calculator absences).
I was unemployed as I was laid off for the period of 15 Feb 2024 – 18 April 2024. Before my lay off I was working remotely in India for my Canadian employer.
I was in India on 15 Feb 2024 and returned to Canada on 4 March 2024. While filling the form how do I declare this?
Would I declare it with two unemployment periods as below:
15 Feb 2024 – 4 March 2024
Unemployed
Residence Address in India
4 March 2024 - 18 April 2024
Unemployed
Residence Address in Canada
Or
Should I just enter a single entry with my Canadian residence?
