Hi Guys,

I have a few questions related to work documents which needs to be submitted for express entry once we have ITA.

My background : graduated 2008 - 4.5 years exp in India - worked for 3 companies
duration - Oct 2008 - July 2012 & July 2012 - March 2013 & March 2013 - July 2013
Travelled to Canada for MBA - August 2013 - Dec 2014 - MBA classes
MBA Co-op - January 2015 - August 2015

worked in a bank as contractor - August 2015 - Feb 2016 ( here i got incorporated with the help of my friend who had a PR)
worked in retail IT- march 2016 - april 2016 - full time
april 2016 - present - retail IT contractor as Incorp employee

My questions :

1.) What all docs are needed to be given for 4.5 yrs work experience in India for 3 companies ?
2.) Is it a problem/chance of rejection for Permanent Residency if i am a contractor who is incorporated vs full time employee in Canada ? ( right now i am on an open work permit)

Please feel free to inbox me your replies and also ask me for clarification if something is not clear.

See the section on Proof of Work Experience:

Since contractors traditionally have been self-employed, and self-employment experience is specifically excluded from Canadian experience, it is not ideal, and you may have difficulty getting the experience accepted as Canadian employment.

An "incorporated employee" sounds like an oxymoron, not to mention a tax headache. But if the CRA agrees that your status is more of an employee than an independent contractor, you can likely use the experience.

Thank you Jes for the links.

Now, I am really worried that 1 year of my Canadian Experience wont be considered :(

How much points do i lose if they deem that i don't have that 1 year experience.

Right now with 1 year experience included it is 484
