Work Reference Letter in English?

Hi guys, for the work reference letter. Is it better for the company to write the letter in let's say Spanish and then translate it into english since the company is in a Spanish country? Or is it better to just tell them to write it in english if they offer?

If your company can issue the letter in English, no need to go through the trouble of translating it.

I got mine in English even though I’m from a Spanish speaking country and didn’t have any issues.
