Work premit Extension

Hi everyone, I have a question to which if anyone can give me an answer would be really helpful.

I applied for a temporary work permit extension with the same employer on the 1st of March and got it approved around the 1st week of April 2017.

I got my new work permit in my mail at my house.

However I did not get any information on how to get the new trv visa stamp on my passport yet.

Its been about 4 weeks since my application for extension got approved.

Should I wait for a while more of is there something else that will come from CIC?

I only for the work permit and there was nothing else mentioned on what do afterwards for the visa.

Any and all info on this would be really appreciated.

Applying for an extension of a work permit does not imply a visa extension. If your visa is expired and you need to leave the country and come back, then you need a new visa, otherwise you don't, as your work permit is enough to remain and work here.
If you need a new visa, the apply online in the CIC website.
