OMG!!! You are trying to buy a LMIA and work permit which is illegal. You can’t get an open work permit…only under specific conditions. Your employer files for a LMIA (costs them $1,000) and once you have LMIA, you apply for a closed work permit. Cost a few hundred dollars.

You can do almost an entire master's program with C$50,000. The guy is a cheat and he clearly fooled you. It isn't possible to get an open work permit that way. Your nephew should've gone the right route.
