my work permit is about to expire but I got my ecorp do I need to renew my work permit or after PR it doesn't need ?

@racheelnaeem IRCC canceled your work permit the day your eCOPR was issued. With your new PR status, you don’t need a work permit to work anywhere in Canada. Have you changed your SIN? If no, go to the nearest Service Canada to you with the signed copy of the eCOPR as well as a photo ID. Your SIN will be changed to a permanent one.

I hope you can help me, my work permit is about to expire, but I am still waiting for my eCoRP, do I need to get a new work permit or do I am allowed to still work? I have issued my photo and address on the portal and am still in Under review.

When did you upload your photos on the PR portal? Also, can you confirm the expiration date of your work permit?

@LuisZaSa I’m sure Your eCOPR will be out very soon. You can apply for another work permit ONLINE if you didn’t receive your COPR before the end of this week. Also you need to check on IRCC website if you qualify for BOWP. Here is the link.

If you are under protected class, apply for the extension of work permit and continue working under "maintain" status while waiting for your COPR..
