hi I would like to ask if any one knows how much time it will take to get any update from visa office as I have applied on 18 may and it’s been 3.5 months but I didn’t receive anything from them. Processing time also get exceeded every week .

Hi, process time is quite long , my work permit application was also submitted on 18 may 2018 from mumbai,and i am still waiting .
by this week hopefully we should expect approval ....
not to worry they have too much back logs to be clear. where r u from.

What kind of work are you applying for?? Yeah I noticed when I loaded my application only 21 weeks, when I checked other day 34 weeks. Where are you applying from???

Its restaurant work permit in BC.
I am from Mumbai but have applied from inland Canada through my company lawyer on 18 may 2018.
I am expecting approval by this week.. lets see

I had applied online on May 28th and no update yet. The processing time just keep on extending with every passing week.

Just wanna ask how long does work permit extension by paper application takes? I submitted my WPE on june 29 2018 and they received my application by July 6 2018 and until now i haven't heard from the immigration. Can I submit Permanent Residence application while waiting for my work permit extension? And is it possible they grant me a bridging open work permit? Thank you

If you are in Canada and submitted Work Permit Extension by mail. it takes 100 Days from submission date. Yes, you can submit PR while your WP is under process.
