Hi,

If I have joined in for a 8 months course, then I will get 8 months work permit or 1 year?

and if I do two 8 months courses, each course for 2 semesters, then i will get 3 years work permit?

If you join an 8 months course you will only get work permit for 8 months. CIC website says if the course is greater than 8 months and less than 2 years you may get a work permit equal to the length of your course. So in your case it will be 8 months

3 Year permit is only issued when the course is for 2 years or more.

Only if the 2nd program is a 1-year master's degree program.

Ok.. but if both the programs I take up are post secondary programs for 8 months?

2nd program has to be a master's degree.
