Hi Friends,

Iam not working since last 6 months and now got approved LMO..Is there any negative impression to issue work permit because of non-working..

Please advice..

I have almost 8 years exp and NOC code is 0631..My exp in Hospitality is around 3 years and the in sales and marketing around 6 years..

Currently being out of work is certainly treated as a negative for temp work permit application. It puts a question mark on your ability to come back to your country (remember it is a temp work permit so you are expected to return) and get a job in your area of experience.

Hi apple how long did u waited for ur lmo?? And what province are u?

Wow ! thats not good, waiting for 2.5 months and then just be rejected :(

What province are u guys?? Mine is unnamed lmo just waiting for confirmation of my name in there, its almost a month now

Hey Apple279 having a job in home country is always a positive point it prove that you come back after the expiry of your work permit....
unless they might see you a possible immigrant and might deny visa.
why take chances u have such a good profile find a job somewhere on temporary basis and leave it when u get the visa...

Hi Gurminnder,

Thanks for your nice reply.

It is positive to work with same industry means hospitality which i got offer letter or any industry...

I had applied for my LMO & WORK Permit together on the 18th of Sept, 2013 and got a reply recently saying that the LMO was rejected. I still haven't heard back regarding the WORK PERMIT, so I am just wondering how long do they normally give you to stay in the country once the reject your work permit?

Once your lmo is rejected your work permit is rejected too, coz work permit depends on ur lmo, what province did u apply and when it was rejected??
