Work permit with OINP (Ontario PNP)

Can CBSA agent issue a work permit with:
1. OINP Ontario PNP valid until June 11, 2017
2. Job offer letter from my Canadian employer with two years commitment/contract.
3. Work permit application forms.


I am an Indian Citizen. I do not have Canada Visa. Can I enter Canada from Peace Bridge, NY, USA and apply for a work permit with above documents?

Yes, they can issue the work permit, but sometimes they can refuse since they want to pass along this job to the CIC.
You need to include two additional documents.
1. Work permit support letter from the OINP
2. Receipt of LMIA exemption fee

1. for your first point I would recommend that read this link. In which they have mentioned that OINP stopped issuing letter for Work Permit support. http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPNOMINEES.html

2. I do not know what is this "Receipt of LMIA exemption fee". In my case of OINP LMIA has nothing to do. Can you advise from where can I get it.

I'm under the Employer/Job Offer stream, so I got the work permit support letter last year but closed one, I guess you are under the different stream then.
If you are somehow eligible to apply the work permit with your PNP, you need to show them that receipt.
All the applicants for the work permit require to obtain the LMIA, but some cases don't require the LMIA like the PNP holders.
However you still need to pay the fee which is LMIA exemption fee, in order to apply the work permit.
I know this is very confusing, but we are the one who need to follow the rule.

You seems to know about Lmia , so I wanted to ask u. I am in the pool now , created EE profile and I am on PGWP. How do u obtain arranged emplyment 50 points ??
Do I need LMIA?

I been working for a year and half in childcare in ontario and I am on PGWP .
