Hello, I have created my EE profile and waiting for the invitation. My employer informed me about a possible Work Permit in Canada. My question is, assume I get the invitation soon and my AOR,
is it fine for my to go ahead for the processing of work permit?
If I get a WP before I get the CoPR, will I be able to travel to Canada and if I am able to travel, will it affect my PR application in any way?

Thanks.

Yes - it's fine. Yes - you could travel to Canada. No impact on PR.

Hi Scylla,

Can you please let me know your thoughts on my below situation.

I hold sinp nomination and my EE pr application is currently in progress (aor Sept 2020).

Right now my company in India is planning apply for ICT work permit for Ontario.

Will my ict work permit for Ontario get rejected bcos of my existing SINP pr which is in progress?

Thank you.

I don't think your ICT will be rejected but this could potentially cause issues for your EE application because this will show you have an intent to move to a province other than the one that nominated you.

Hi @scylla,

Would you please let me know your thoughts on my situation ? Thank You.

I have submitted my PR Application (Express Entry - FSW) in December 2019.

Due to Covid-19 - FSW-Outland Application are not getting updates so Final Decision is pending for me.

2. No - you don't. Your PR application was already submitted and there's no need to update.
3. Follow the instructions on the IRCC website. I don't know the full list by memory.

Hi, I have a follow-up question on this.

I have created my EE profile in January 2021 (outland) and haven't got any invitation yet because of no FSW Outland draws. My employer offered an ICT visa for me and the application is in the process. (medical done and passed, did not submit biometrics yet because of VAC closure). Could you please tell me when I should update about the work permit in my Express Entry profile. Is it now or once the application is approved or once I land in Canada with a work permit? Thank you!

Hello, I have another followup question: My WP (ICT GSS) got approved and I will be traveling from India soon. But I did not get any invitation as there is no FSW draws since January 2021 (EE profile created in Jan 2021).

1. Assuming they will start giving FSW invitations probably after 3 months (towards the end of 2021) and I am already in Canada, will I be able to still continue as an outland applicant?

2. Another scenario is lets say there is no FSW draws until January 2022; in that case my application will expire before I get any invitation; and lets say from February onwards they started FSW draws and I don't have enough inland experience (less than 6 months), but I will mention about my Canadian experience in the profile. In this case, will I be considered as an inland applicant or still outland applicant?

Could anyone please answer these?
