Work Permit - Visitors Visa on Passport

Hi there,

I have entered canada on visitors visa. My open work permit is approved and I hold physical copy of open work permit authorization.

visitors visa is valid until 2025 and work permit is approved until 2024.

Questions:

1. Do I need to change my status on passport from visitor to worker ? If so how should i

2. Should I leave canada and re enter ?
3. Can I continue work ?

I am in a very confused state. Please help me out with proper guidance.

Hi , I have a similar situation. I already have a work permit valid till 2024. But I have visitor Visa, would I be able to enter and stay in Canada as long as my work permit's validity. Bcz visitor Visa usually only lets you stay up to 6mths .
