Hello All,
My wife has post-grad WP and is expired soon (as well as her visa and passport). She has underwent medical check-up (except xray). Can she extend her WP without letter of employment or just send the letter saying she is waiting for her PR to be done? Well, in the letter for doing medical checkup says that now she can apply for a WP.

Please share your experience :D Thank you so much!!

She will need to apply for a new work permit if she wants to continue working after her PGWP expires. To qualify for a new work permit, her employer will have to provide her with an approved LMO (labour market opinion).

Dear all,
I have called the CIC office regarding my wife's work permit. In case any one of you have the same situation as mine..
so if you're waiting for your PR card and you've done medical check-up etc (decision made) and your post-grad WP expires soon, you just need to apply for an open wp without LMO or employer letter.

All the best.
