Work permit visa processing time

Hi Everyone,

I am a Bangladeshi citizen and working in Qatar at present. I applied for temporary work permit for Canada through immigration lawyers in Canada.

The application was submitted online through CIC on 15th July 2017 and they also sent me an application number stating with W************. My lawyer has sent me a screen shot of my application which still in under process.

I am really worried now as it’s already taken 4 moths and has exceeded both counties given processing time:

(Qatar- 8 Weeks)
(Bangladesh- 16 weeks)

The posted processing time for Qatar is 21 weeks (not 8 weeks).

Since you applied from Qatar - this is the processing time that applies to your application.

Just 5 days before it was showing 8 weeks for Qatar and when i applied it was showing 7 weeks. Now i am standing on 18 weeks.

I applied from Bangkok. The processing times was at 24 weeks when I applied. Then it grew to 30 weeks after a couple of weeks. That is almost 7 months. However, I received a response 4 months after I submitted it. It was a refusal though...
