hi I'm from the Philippines. I applied for temporary work visa in alberta as a health care aid, but as soon as i made a deal with my employer I learned that there is this Provincial Nominee Program open for graduates of BS Nursing... Now I am waiting for my LMO, but I wonder if ever I'll be working in canada as a temporary worker, is it possible I can apply also for PNP while I am there????so that after my contract as a temporary worker, I will be ready again to become Immigrant???

I hope you understand what I am really saying...
I really want the offered as a PNP.

Thanks!

If you are working in a skilled job or you can get promoted to a skilled job, you can apply for your immigration via PNP with employer support. See http://www.albertacanada.com/immigration/immigrate/ainp.html

Yeah, I think BC might be a better choice since BC really needs nurses and even a practical nurse in BC probably makes more than a health care aid in AB.

WOW! its nice hearing that.. is a health care aid skilled worker??? ~bumping~ since I have my application already filed with my employer, and I know I cannot get my money back for the processing. is it just possible then that I can apply as PNP while I am working in Canada?? or as soon as i arrived.. I'll be happy if I can do that...

Thanks guys!!

Health care aid 3413 is not a skilled job. You would need to get promoted or get a better job.
