Work Permit Timelines for May Applicants from India

Hey guys I have posted here on behalf of someone else.

His file is being processed in newdelhi India,
In addition- its a farm worker lmia.

Any one got approved?

What’s the timeline? Did your friend got any medical or interview? From this thread , I think everyone is still waiting for a medical or interview

Not yet. No interview or medical request. Applied on 14th August. I am not sure how long does it takes.
It’s for farm worker work permit/lmia

Its been over 10 weeks now, and I haven't yet heard back on my application.
At the time of filing the application, the processing time at the CIC website for work permits from India was showing 10 weeks, however, it has changed and exceeded to 14 weeks as of today. Can any one please suggest, if I should expect my application to be processed as per the time shown at submission or will it be processed in 14 weeks?

Also, if we have someone else from India who has filed for a work permit application around the same time, please share your timelines and progress.

Any update on this? I have applied for my WP on Sept 1st week and I have a valid job offer in Toronto too. Your response will help me gauge the time. Thanks

Hi Sakshi, Any update on your WP.

I also have a job offer and submitted through Canadian attorney on 29th June 2018, for WP, open WP for my spouse and Study permit for my son. But no response as yet, we have completed 20 weeks.
All the best to everyone waiting.

Don't worry you will get medical request soon. As I had applied on 23rd August and got medical request on 10 November.

My employer got positive open lmia and my lawyer sent lmia for my name addition, last week. Can someone tell me how much time it will take to add my name on lmia? And after name addition if i will apply for work permit from india what will be the processing time?

Depends on visa officer are you inside or outside canada
