Work Permit timeline 2021 from Philippines

I'm not expecting anything in this point in time hehe. I just got tired of being frustrated with this whole Canada thing XD

Haist me too.. before only 2 months and maximum 3 months the processing of work permit but now I think forever! Anyway, what NOC you applied?

I applied for skill level A. Most probably this is under low priority on their queue. I know people who applied july 2020 with the same skill level and they got their PPR november of the same year. So I don't when Canada suddenly stopped their processing.

My colleague already in Canada last may, they just lodged 2 weeks before me. So, I don’t know what happened to my/our application. I’m under NOC C LMIA EXEMPT.

Did they requested for additional documents from you as well? My wife's coming with me, aside from these two things I have the same application type as my colleagues

Yes, last July 14. Extension of nominee cert. I included my wife on my application too, have you done your medical? Are you logded your application on your own or by agency?

Yup done with my medical last September 2020 (about to expire hehe).
Does your colleague included his wife as well?

I applied on my own but the company's immig lawyer is handling the application.

Oh I see, yes she also included her husband and kids. She applied first week of dec and got her PPR on march. One of my friend applied last march 2020 and still waiting for PPR.

I requested GCMS notes 1st week of July to have some clarity. Still waiting for it though

Yes, I did how many times and I just received the generic email only. Still in process and die to covidz
..

I also requested gcms notes last Jun 26 but I didn’t receive it yet Lol

Yup I sent a follow up but just received a generic reply stating the delay is due to COVID-19.

What I don't understand is other countries like India are receiving PPRs on their normal timeline.

Indians are waiting since Aug 2020 for their PPR's for work permits.
Only one who applied along with Study permit received their PPR's after 4 months of filing application. That too very few.

I don't know what makes you feel Indians are getting updates like normal I really wish it would have been the case.

Sorry about that. I was just trying to point out our situation here in the Philippines. Like you guys out there, we're also frustrated about how this visa process is going, it really ruined our personal plans. If you want I can remove that part on my comment.

By the way, how long have you been waiting for your PPR?

I didn't feel bad about your comment. I just replied as I saw you have wrong info about PPR's from India.
I am waiting since May 2021.
