My Work Permit has a condition that says I can't take educational programs without authorization. But I've read online that enrolling in courses that take less than 6 months are fine. Is this true? I am enrolled in a program that only takes 4 months.

Yes - that's fine. As long as it's a single course and not part of a longer program, you're good.
