Work permit question

Hey all,

We've applied for a work permit along with our sponsorship that was recieved on Feb 11, AoR was issued yesterday.

If we can't link our work permit for some reason, does it really matter? Would the government send us an email anyways once the work permit has been approved similar to the way the AoR works?

They will send you an email once it's approved and then the physical work permit will arrive in the mail about a week later.
