Work permit processing time

Hi there,
Can anyone please tell me the actual time required to get an open work permit for Canada? I had applied on 27th July and it is still on processing. I am bit worried since few of my friends got their visa in one month.

Where did you applied for your open work permit? US or somewhere else? I applied for my ICT on 8/3 in US and waiting for result.

For India applications, it is showing processing time around 14 weeks.

Yes I checked online and it is showing 14 weeks.. but i have never heard from anyone that it takes such a long time for open work permit.. even my consultant told me that I will get my visa in 30-40 days.

But after applying this is what I am getting to know that it might take 14 weeks as well.
So I just wanted to know if is there is anyone who recetly got thier visa for Canada or has correct knowledge for the processing time?

My husband is there in Canada on work permit, so I have applied as a dependent visa. As of now I don't have any employment offers for my self, that's why I have applied as spouse work permit visa.

Hi, Yes I got my passport yesterday itself with the visa stamp.
Applied on 25th July
Mode of application- Offline
Applied from - Pune(visa office bangBanga)
Able to link application online-13 septSepte
Application got approved on-26th September
Received the passport- 28th September

Do u have valid Job offer from Canadian employer?
If yes u should hire an professional representative inside Canada to do that and get all paper and information from your company that like hire you.

Hi guys

Anyone with Work permit application made in September that would share timeline? Processing time in UK was 17 weeks then reduced to 14 weeks..my application has been processing for 27 weeks still no final decision.

Applied online..medical passed..

Would love to get a response in other peoples time line
