Work permit processing time

My Work permit was processed in flat 2 weeks. I am in USA(H1b). Filed on 10/31 & request for passport received on 11/14. From what I hear it really depends on which visa processing center your application is directed. Also I had stamped visitor visa (done earlier this year) so not sure if that played any role. Sent my passports on Friday, will see how long they take for stamping.

Also mine is Intra company transfer.

No update from your immigration or CIC? Check with your company e.g. mine was issued on November 14th but my company informed me only on 17th.

Is it possible to check my application status online I have just the application number ??

I am not aware, also since mine is filed by company the tracking an only be done by the mail id provided during filing which was Attorney's not mine. I believe your would be similar?

Did they applied u under noc ??
Bec my hr also said that I might be eligible for noc process ...

Hi friends,
I would like to know about dependent work permit,my wife already had a open work permit from jan17-jun17 but after that she went back,now she has again appllied for the work permit,is there any kind of advantage if we have any previous records of holding a work permit.
and is it processed like a new work permit application and does the processing time remains same.

just an update for everyone who wants to know about work permit processing time. My husband applied for PR+Open work permit within Canada on August 24th, 2017 and he received open work permit by mail on December 1st, 2017. Total processing time - 14 weeks (~3 months).
