Work permit processing time after LMIA approval

Hello everyone,

I have been searching but couldn’t find any answer for my case. So I need some help. :)

I was in Canada beginning of this year as a visitor and I got a job offer so we applied for LMIA. I came back to my country (Turkey) to spend my time with my family before start working and to wait for the result.

Today my employer got the phone call for the interview. He was told that we will get the e-mail from goverment in 2-4 weeks.

If we get the approval from LMIA I know I need to apply for work permit and I already have a valid visitor visa. (until 2022) My question is having a TRV and being outside Canada makes any difference in work permit application processing time?
