Hello Everyone,

What is the real processing time for a work permit inside Canada?

I've been extending my work permit since February. I'm still waiting for an answer from IRCC.

Anyone got a new work permit if applied in this year?

I'm sorry if this isn't much help but I have had an application in since 25th April and I haven't received so much as an update on my application online. I'd be interested to follow this thread though to see what realistic processing times are like. The website has since been updated to say approx. 12 weeks processing time, which is obviously bs. I don't know if you've tried this already but you can send a web form for an update, using this link:

I have already tried to send a web for. They have said that an application is still in progres

I would recommend you read through the posts in the Foreign Workers section of the forum rather than posting here.

What day did you apply? I applied for a work permit on Feb 08, 2022 and still nothing ):

have you got work permit ? could you let me know how long it took for approval. mine submitted in March8th still waiting.
