I have also applied in month of june'13.

but as of now i have seen so many people who are waiting for their visa (march applicants)

We are very much behind in the queue but this is totally due to the strike .

if this strike over this week may be file processing speed will be faster .

but i don't think it will be over soon.

Hope for the best and pray to god everyone get there visa's.

Who are very much far away from there love once's and they really need each other to lead to life.

i think due to strike my case is delay...i didn't listen any good news from march applicant's ...have u verification from embassy

there is this family in my basement who have PR n settled here for a while... the lady's mom got visit visa with in two weeks last week. so i guess their priority is tourist visa as of now and not work permit applications.

Yes you are right they are issuing Student visa and Visitor visa but they have very heavy backlog of work permit..may be they will issue it after ending of this strike.

HI guys I beleive priority is right Student,visitor and Work Permit. I believe soon we will receive the email. My main concern is have u seen anyone receiving visa since last 2 months.

spouse OWP application submitted at VFS chandigarh on 23/04/13.
received text on 25/04/13. status as of 22/08/13 "under process".

did anyone received any response lately from Chandigarh embassy ?

any updates regarding strike ? I had read before on some thread that on Aug 22 there was suppose to be a meeting regarding strike action...

As of now i havn't got any call or mail from them.

Waiting is killing me day by day!!!!

I don't know what is going to happen..

Waiting for strike decision .

Hello everybody , I am new to this forum and I applied for work permit by VFS New Delhi as I applied on 2nd August 2013 and I am also waiting for reply as it is taking time. As you guys know that there is strike going on however I heard there are Cic guys who are working and processing temporary resident visa, let us hope for the best

one person who applied for s-owp on 8th april, visa approved waiting on passport... another person applied on 15th april got medical request . i applied on 26th april still no response hoping for best
