Hello everyone,

I am a Spanish recently graduated student who is going to Canada to teach Spanish at a Uni as an intern. I applied for a work permit but it seems it is incomplete (they never informed me of this). I sent an email to the office in charge of my application because they told they would tell me what is missing but they are not answering. I wanted to ask if anyone here knows how visas work. I have never applied for one and I want to know if I am going to be able to go to Canada because I am leaving the 30th, so I am not sure that I will have time to get the visa in time. What would you recommend me to do?

Which office did you apply to and when?
Did you apply online?

And what makes you think your application is incomplete - have they emailed you?

Thanks

Hi Rosey1111,
Thanks for answering. I applied in the French embassy. I applied by mail. I emailed them about my application because it was taking too long. They informed me then that my application was incomplete and that I had to contact with the VFS office there to ask for the documents missing. However, they don't reply my emails and I am starting to worry, so I don't know what it is missing. I don't know what to do. I am leaving the 30th and I don't know if I am going to be able to go to Canada and start my internship without my visa... Do you know how this situation may end? I am really nervous and I have no way to sort this out, they don't have a phone line and my emails are ignored...

Have you tried chatting to them online?
