Work Permit Passport Submission Process at VFS Center India

Hi All,

I received passport request today for Work Permit - ICT. I am asked to submit the passport in-person at VFS center.

Could you please let me know the process while submitting passport at VFS center? Do we have any biometric? Or Interview ?
Any how long would it take to return the stamped passport.

Passport request is usually the last step of the process. This means that they have reached to a decision on your application and requires the passport for visa printing purposes. Check the CIC account, you must have received a letter, which will be required when you submit the passport. This process is done in one week.

Thanks. Yes, my attorney forwarded me the letter from CIC requesting to submit the passport.
