Hi Experts

I need one advice...i came to canada last yr and i hve 2yrs study work which expires in july 2015...and my passport expires in june 2016...here,my doubt is next yr if i apply for work permit...will i get work permit for 1yr(becz,my passport vailuty is one yr) or 3yrs??......

how many years of work permit will that depend upon passport validity??

You will get it only up to the PP validity.

But cic is clearly mention that if u hold aa 2 yr study permit then ull b qualify for 3 yr work permit...

Yes, but they cannot issue a work permit beyond the validity of a person's passport. If someone receives a shortened PGWP because of an expiring passport, they can submit an app to extend the permit once they have a new passport.
