Work permit (online) - Singapore office - Time line

Hi all,

would appreciate some input.
I had submitted my work permit in the middle of August, together with the required documents.

However, till now, the application remains as "open". I understand that means they have not started reviewing the documents yet.

Does anyone have a similar experience, or able to tell me the usual time line.

I had sent them an email to check if my documents are in order, and I got an automated reply stating they will take 1 month to reply to the mail!!!

Any advice is greatly appreciated

Hi. Same here. My husband's work permit (with positive LMIA) application was submitted last August 23, 2014 and the status was still Open.

Interview : Waived
Passport Req : December 30, 2014

He was in the Philippines for Christmas vacation that's why he submitted it by mid of January 2015.

Passport Submitted: January 13, 2015
Visa Issued : January 16, 2015

Anyone having updates via SG visa? Ive done my medical last April 28 then hospital sent it already to CIc but my MyCic account still says "we need medical info"..haist its been 3 months already since I passed my working visa application... Im top anxious!

Send an email and give details of when and where the medical was done and if u have the copy of medical slip/info attach it to your email.

Hi, nope di ako nag take ng IELTS, not required.

Thanks, hope you have yours soon. Pag nag apply lang ng PR saka need ang IELTS, Godbless and trust in Him.

May ngtake kasi nirequire daw lawyer nya.. i trust God's time so far, no other documents naman na nirequire ng embassy sa'kin... I hope it goes smoothly godbless!!

Lawyer din ang nag resubmit ng papers ko, i asked him if i need to take IELTS, no need daw, and na issuehan ako ng visa, and if CIC wants you to have it done, they could have told you when they request your P Clearance and med req at the same time Dont worry ako nag wait din ng mahigit 10 weeks after my medical. Kust make sure na na received ng cic ang med report mo. Keep on praying and trust Him. Godbless
