I got job offer from employer in Quebec. I have not moved to Canada yet. I was wondering if I can keep my residence in Ontario ? as its difficult for kids to continue in French schools ? if possible to live in Ontario, will I get there health and education benefits ? What is the procedure if anyone have idea please

I want to live in Ottawa and work will be in Montreal, employer can allow mix of remote work and also from office. Like 2 days in a week going to office

To qualify for a Quebec work permit you must live and work in Quebec

You have to be a resident of Quebec since your work and work permit are based in Quebec.

You need a new work permit and a different employer, unless your employer has offices out of Quebec, if you want to work out of Quebec
