Hi Everyone,

I know the processing time is approximately 10 weeks but can someone please someone share their timeline on their work permit application in Manila Visa Office.

Please enlighten me... i applied via paper in vfs last oct 24 2017 but until now i havent received any feedback be it sms emai or call whatsoever. Im so worried as ro what haend to my work permit applicaton. When i tracked my aplication via vfs online it says there your application s being processed at the Canada Visa Offlice, MANILA

Hi Skyeben, my cousin is already here in Canada. She applied online Jan 2, and receiced the passport request on Jan 18.

Can I ask if u receive ur work permit as of this moment?.... My husband also applied January 16 and had his medical exam Jan 19. We did'nt receive any update since then.

I applied via paper: april 18, 2018
Got medical request: may 2, 2018
Medical request submitted: may 6, 2018
Till now (may 18) im waiting for decision

Hi Guys,

I'm also concerned with my Work Permit Application. Here is my timeline:

-Application sent from VFS Cebu to
Canadian Embassy in Manila, August 28.
-Received Medical Exam Request September 3.
-Did our medical exam with my wife September 9.
-Had to follow up the medical examiner about my results if it was already forwarded to the embassy. October 2.
-as of today I have no idea on the status of our permit application. Waiting.

Our Lawyer applied OWP for my wife and Student and TRV for kids last week of August.Until now there is no updates about medical or any biometrics.Anyone here in the same situation..
