Work permit hard/original copy not received even after arriving Canada

Hello,

I need help or throw some light in my query. I came to Canada through dependent visa and applied for open work permit. I got it approved when we were in Canada, during December 1 2019. We went to India for a vacation and submitted TRV. I submitted my original copy of work permit in vfs Hyderabad, India. I got my passport stamped and received a small paper saying that I will get my Original work permit in port of entry.

We reached Canada , and the port of entry officer told us that the original work permit will be arrived through mail. It’s been two months that I am in Canada and I haven’t received my work permit in mail. Can you please let me know whom should I contact. If you can provide me mail id or phone number on whom to contact it will be great. I have the soft copy of work permit. Should I go to consulate in Toronto and check?

The Indian consulate? To check about whether a Canadian work permit was mailed to you or not? I can't see the point of that as the Indian government has nothing to do with your Canadian WP.
You could call the Call Centre or enquire via Web Form.

Do you have the number for the call center. ? I tried to submit web form but no reply. been two months I submitted a web form and no reply yet

other than this how should I proceed?

I called the above number and they have given me two options

1). To wait
2) apply for reissue of lost/stolen work permit documents. -30$ fee

I am applying for the documents .

I went and paid 30$ and sent photocopy of documents to Ottawa location . Processing time is one month.. will see

I am suffering from the same issue. I did the same process of submitting the documents. Did you receive your hard copy after 1 month?

I sent to wrong address.. so I again mailed to correct address. It’s only been a week .

Alright. There is no way to track if they received the package and started processing it. If I get an update on my application I will let you know. Thanks.

Sure.. only way is UPS whether they received the package or not. And after one month too if we didn’t get any response we can submit web form.

It has been a month. But I haven't received any confirmation from them so I have submitted a web form. Let's see what they have to say.

I too faced the same issue, didn't receive the hard copy and send the form and documents via mail as reissue of lost/stolen work permit documents .Its been almost a month now but no respone.
Did any of you receive the hard copy of Work permit ?

Yes I received it through mail. Even for me first time when I submitted I too didn’t receive as I sent to wrong address. But again the same documents I sent to correct address and I got it after one month of sending it to correct address
