Hi,

We applied for a work permit from UAE on 1st Aug 2021 & we are still waiting after 52 weeks . Just wanted to check if anyone else having a similar timelines have got an approval & if they can share their timelines as well. I got mail from immigration lawyer for 61 weeks. But if we check current processing time on IRCC website it is 22 weeks as on 20.9.22. Is it really 61 weeks long? for Non GSS+LMIA exempt work permit.

Support letter is issued to IRCC Abu Dhabi but I did my Bio metrics from VFS Dubai.

My suggestion for UAE people is to apply your Canadian visa from Oman.
