Hello..I need help urgent! I just got a pos graduation work permit that is valid for one year. My boyfriend has a young professional work permit that is going to expire in august. If we get married before August will it make it easy for him to extend his work permit?

I got it in may..so it expires may 2016. We can't applied for commom law declaration cause we were not living together for one year. However we thought about get married so he could applied for spousal open work permit but I don't know if it is gonna work since we were not married when I got my work permit
