Work Permit Extn and Applying for PR

HI,

I am working in Canada with a Work permit (Valid till Jan 2012), but I would complete my 2 years in Canada only in Mar 2012. So to apply for PR under Experience class, Can I apply for my Work Permit extn in Jan , and during the implied status, Can i apply for my PR after March? Which is the best way to go about this. Please advice.

Better to apply for a new LMO in September-October, and new work permit in November-December.

Technically yes, but that's why I suggested that you plan to apply earlier for the LMO...
