I and my dependant have received portal request for PR, my dependant work permit is expiring in Feb 2025, does she need to apply for an extension till we get eCoPR? MY WP is valid till 2025.

I did extend my work permit with support letter from provincial nominee, company need to submit job offer on portal, and additional documents are required.
You need to do this at least 30 days before your current work permit is expired.

Thanks, i do not not need to apply, but can my spouse apply for an extension based on my WP? We just want to maintain the status.

Yes you need to maintain valid status before you get PR . Your dependent have to apply for Sowp if he is secondary applicant . You need to see requirements for SOWP . Your dependent can’t apply with WPSL if he is not primary applicant.
