Hi everyone, I am on my work permit but its expiring soon. My wife is going to apply for her work permit as her studies are going to be done in April. So can I apply for my work permit extension with her work permit application or do I have to wait for her work permit ?

Does she have a NOC A, B or 0 job? If not, you don't qualify for a work permit based on her PGWP and must apply to change your status to visitor.

my wife's work permit got extended after her studies on jan 2nd. and she started working as a food service supervisor from jan 28th. my workpermit is expiring on march 21st. so i am planning to go to the border on march secondweek after getting her 3rd paystub. i have some doubts on this matter.
1. on her first paystub , total hours of working is 54 biweekly due to some sick leave. will it matter when i go to border to renew my work permit?
2. what all documents shall i bring to the border when i go there for extending the sowp?
3. how much will be the fee?
4. do we need to take our spouse with us when we go to border?
