Work permit extension

Hi,

I recently applied for work permit extension with BC pnp work permit support letter , nomination certificate and valid job offer but my application was refused saying that my company has to pay a compliance fee for lmia exempt category. However i thought with bc pnp nomination n support letter i dun need to go thru this lmia process. Is that so even with bc pnp nomination n wpsl u need to go thru lmia??.

I re applied again just one day before my current work permit expired as i was notified only then about my refusal. This time i applied fot bridging work permit and attached AOR (as i hav applied for PR) with this to support my application? Will i be given a permit this time? Have i done it right?

If i get refused again, can i come back to canada once i get nominated for my PR. or i wont be nominated as i am refused for a work permit. I applied for my PR in bc pnp category- international post grad category.

So please help me out in this mates...

When did u apply?....as per i know u hv to pay compliance fee 200 n some dollas

I applied on Sep and got refusal in OCt (30 days). Yes i know about the fees but I didnt want to apply in that stream. The questionnaire which we do before getting to the application took me to the wrong stream due to some of my answers. While re applying on Oct i applied for beodging work permit with Aor from cic? Will that be auffiiccient for my work permit to get accepted?

when did u apply in october?...i applied on 15th october and i m in the same condition as you.....i m waiting for brif=dging open work permit.............your answer ll be appreciated

If your nomination is employment restricted, then your company has to pay the $230 compliance fee and submit a LMIA Exempt job offer through the employer portal which after will give you a job ID number that you must submit with the compliance fee receipt.

Then you can get your work permit.
