Work permit extension

I applied work permit extension online with same employer using my pnp certificate with letter of support last Sept 14, 2015 still waiting for the result.
Anyone here applied wp ext online last sept or oct?

haven't heard anything from them,

normally it takes 4 months what they say

Online it showed they were working in early September ep extension applications last week.

But they seem to not have an order they really work in as
End November applicant got letter confirming WP Extension approval 5 days ago.

I will have to apply for a WP extension soon, would appreciate it if anyone can help answer the following questions:

• How long will the extension be?
• Do I need an AOR to apply for an extension? Or does the letter from PNP office suffice?
• If I am on a Post Graduate Work Permit, can I get an extension for an open work permit?
• What are the papers that would be required from my current employer?

Appreciate any help.

can't you just apply at the border for the work permit?
