sorry for the late reply guys, didnt check this post for a long time ,
@sujeetss -getting a job in Canada is pretty easy, specially with your 7 years of experience, you might not have any problems at all.
@Abu - no dude, i was working with Bell Mobillity, they did not extend it for me.
@guys >> Canada is a great country, might as well enter Canada as a PR....its an easier route than all the headaches that come along with a work permit. :)

I have an Indian Passport ..i completed my post graduate diploma ( 8 months ) from Humber College in canada in wireless telecom. now iam on open work permit....which valid till June 30 2010...I just got a permanent job offer with one of the most popular telecommunication companies in Canada and the job falls in my field of work................i am going to apply for my permanent residency any day now, but before that i need to sort out my work permit issues( because my pr will take longer than the expiry date of my work permit)
If somebody could be kind enough to guide me as to what needs to be done in order for my work permit to be extended beyond June and also is it a difficult or simple procedure ? would my company be willing to do that for me ?

Hi Buddy

I am Gagan from India. I have done my B.Tech in ECE, 2008 passout. Presently I am working as a RF Engineer in a outsourcing company TNS PVT. LTD. and I have a total of 4 years and 6 months experience.

Now I am looking forward to get settle in Canada as the working environment in India is not good.

Please let me know should I go for a Post Graduate Diploma in Wireless Telecommunications. Is it worth to do this course ?

Secondly if I opt for the above mentioned course, can I get job after the study completes or is it difficult to get job in telecom field.

Regards
Gagan
