work permit extension with AINP nomination certificate?

Hi

I have received AInP nomination and my work permit is getting expired in next 3.5 months?
Anyone extended their work permit status using Ainp nomination?

If you apply now ,you will get closed work permit ... .. But if you apply work permit after getting file number from cic ,you will get open work permit for a year (bridging open work permit )...
So best thing you can do is -send your file to cic .wait for acknowledgement (gonna be one month or 1.5 month)
Then send that acknowledgembt and get open bridging work permit

Btw if I apply for closed work permit I heard I will get 2 year work permit while if I apply bowp it will be just 1 year?
Is that true
