Work Permit Extension (Oct, Nov or Dec, 2015) online or paper base applicants

Hi All,

This forum has been very helpful so far! Just need to confirm something...once you mail your documents for PGWP extension, how long does it take till you receive any confirmation from CIC that your application has been received? I mailed my application two weeks ago but have heard nothing back so far so just curious.

If you mailed it, you will not get any confirmation. U just need to wait to be mailed to you at your mailbox. Did you get a tracking no. from the courier? If yes you can track it to make surw they recieved it

They will send the new work permit only

Any updates about work permit extension with same employer?
I saw it online that they are processing Dec 29 2015 and they updated it last April 15 and its 93 days.
But I want to know some timelines hehehe

They said your file is closed and letter sent to you.
Is that me reject or approve?
I think if approve then they saysl its approve .

I tried searching the meaning. It says they withdrawn it. but im not sure. Try to open the link

Im so sorry I dont have idea. Anyway its better to call again to cic. Tell them that u didnt receieve the letter yet

Work permit rejected by CIC mistake

My Work permit rejected by CIC mistake
I have requested reconsideration based on their error and I will wait 30 days for them to respond to that before deciding on next steps or if Federal Court is warranted or required.

I will also apply restoration application by the end of next week requesting worker status be restored.

I have 2 question

1-how long reconsideration take?
2-how long restoration take?

I heard some took 2-3 months for the restoration, No idea for the reconsideration.

I applied restoration by paper in Feb still waiting. But now processing time is less for online application. Try doing online application.
