mine was applied on Dec 23 for work permit extension - online application - same employer. No reply yet.
Strangely, the CIC website indicates as of today it is 38 days to process online applications for WP extensions - same employer.
It says - "Working on applications received on March 7, 2016".
Mine was submitted Dec 23, around 120 days ago!. No response yet.
I'm waiting and waiting!!!

What I'm not understanding is the information CIC is showing on their website. What does "Working on applications received on March 7, 2016" mean. Just 3 weeks ago it was "Working on applications received on Sept 15, 2015" - what changed in just a few weeks all of sudden they are showing some date on their website while actually they have still a lot of pending applications?
This is not being transparent..

My friend submitted hers Nov 30 2015 paper based. She got her wp extension with same employer last Month i think around 3rd week of March.
I guess the online application got faster now coz I think many applicants submitted theirs by paper when the processing time on online got slower few months ago. So ridiculous eh?!

I had applied on Nov 2nd, 2015 (paper base) and got approved on Feb 15, 2016 and received in mail Feb 29, 2016.

This forum has been very helpful so far! Just need to confirm something...once you mail your documents for PGWP extension, how long does it take till you receive any confirmation from CIC that your application has been received? I mailed my application two weeks ago but have heard nothing back so far so just curious.
