Work permit extension letter

Hello all,

I have received an email that my wp extension letter is approved and has been mailed to my address.By when can I actually get it and I didn’t give buzz code in the address and does it not get delivered in such case. As this is a sensitive situation , I can’t really go and collect it as well. Need some help.

Hello. I believe they send the mail through Canada Post. It shouldn't take too much days, probably a maximum of 2 weeks. To my knowledge, the mail would just be placed into your mailbox (and usually postman's have access to the buildings in the area that they work and you wouldn't need to give him/her a buzz code. But if he needs to deliver it to your hand, and he's not able, he will let a delivery attempt note in the front-door asking to you go for some close Canada post location to pick up the mail).

If you have a tracking number, you may could see the day they receive and try to deliver so you can wait in the front-door.
