Work permit extension background check

Dear all, I have applied for my closed WP extension. After the biometrics was done my background check status was changed into we are reviewing your background check.

It had never happened before in previous applications for extension. The BG check was always N/A for those applications.

I am freaking out right now what does this status mean exactly and what are they doing?

Please advice if you know of experienced it in you applications. Thanks

Its normal , dont worry about it .

It is just a bit weird for me as when I applied for extension last time my Background check was always N/A.
So it seems that they do it not always...
